New Die Cuts in the Shop!!

Check it out!! I have recently purchased a digital cutter and I thought I would put it to good use by adding die cuts in my etsy shop. All shipping is $1.00 regardless of how many items you buy!! New stuff in the shop...Check it out!!

I uploaded some new stuff in the shop......Just in time for mom' s day. Also I will be uploading a video about my paper bag albums. Why you ask? Well, my husband thinks I need to explain myself about the albums. So, that will be coming up soon..hopefully this week sometime in between getting my mom's gift ready and planning my scrap weekend in June....well see.

Update and an Announcement!!

First the update, so far no strike, but we are going on a 20 day strike standby which is the pits and now dear husband is on a work force all this coming weekend. We are okay and we will get thru this. At least, he's still working.....that is my only plus.

Scared...

So, I am scared.....We will know this coming weekend if Donavan goes on strike. I am just alittle off of what might happen. I canceled my craft fair space because we were told we may strike more than two weeks. I will just try to sell my stuff on etsy or ebay for whatever I can get.

So I am back...(how many times do I plan on saying that)

I have decided to do something different this year but it's taken me a few months to decide this because we are already in March. So much has changed since last blogged....so I will update you all.(like some one reads this besides me!!)...so we went back to homeschooling, but it's not regular homeschooling, it's all online which works great for my boys so far plus it's free. We are homeschooling thru CAVA. So far, it's pretty easy for both my boys. G is almost done with all of his lessons which range from algebra to art plus everything in between. He will start doing his 7th grade work before June. And Dylan, has finished 3 of his subjects and all he has is LA and Math. He will be doing 3rd grade work come April. It's been pretty exciting....And, last Deegan has been doing great, she can write almost all her letters and she repeats everything she hears which is bad of course!!

So, I am guessing you noticed I have changed a few things here on my blog. Well, getting on to what I have decided for this year.....I have decided to go ahead and try my hand at having some type of scrapbooking business. I don't want to own a online store, maybe esty, or just local craft fairs. I have a craft fair coming up in April that I want to try. It's a one day event for just a few hours. When I seen it advertised, I thought why not. I have lots of scrapbook stuff just lying around. I have a few things that I have done so far nothing I am ready to post yet. So, that's it for now. My mommy is on her way to pick up my monkeys, so husband and I can go see The Watchmen. I will let you all know how it goes......

New stuff.....bad blogger...

Here's my latest stuff. I haven't really been scrapbooking, but altering. I just don't

"feel" like scrapping anymore. No, I am not ready to give my stuffs away, but I feel like making layouts isn't for me anymore. Maybe it's just my midlife crisis going on, but here's the latest...

First one, my dd, Deegan. It's the packaging from the Target $1 spot fake prima flowers I got awhile back. I think I loved the box more the actual flowers. I know that is bad.

The second is, of course like you all didn't already know her name, Deegan(again!!). It's an acrylic clipboard I picked up at walmart months ago. It's probably been thru the ringer a few times with the kids using it.

So it's been along time....a REALLY long time...

Okay, so it has been along time. Moving on....right? That's what it's all about. So here's some new stuff I have worked on in the last few weeks. Okay, it's the only stuff I have pics of. I will have to add more as I go.

The top pic(2 piece) is made out of some thin chipboard I bought at Home Depot. The pic next to it is my very first creation using acrylic plexiglass. I keep using that same picture only cause I don't have very many pics with all 3 kids. I know bad mommy! So the next 2 pics are my crafty stuff I have been working on. So tell me what you all think? HONESTLY. They could be used for gift bags for small gifts. They were super easy to make. All the polka dot material is all vintage. the next LO is of my son Dylan. It was for a sketch LO contest over at Sherri's Scrapbook Supply. I don't think I won, but it was cool anyway. It was my first LO in weeks. PLUS I used my old stash. I haven't really bought anything new for awhile. I know...what kind of scrapper am I really? So leave me some comments I would really love to know what you think?

Hey it's like been forever.....

since I lasted blogged. I am sooooo sorry! I have been so stinkin busy over at Sherri's Scrapbook Supply. Ladies, don't be shy, please come by and do say hi. I miss all of you so very much. I do. I do. Right now, we have some challenges going on for 4 weeks and whoever wins gets a 3-month Guest Creative Team Member position. Ladies, it's not too late you all can still join in. We are on our 3 week sketch challenge which will end tomorrow. But there is still time!! We have some amazing talent going on over there. The only hard part for me is having to vote. I hate having to vote for some thing like that. They are all great scrappers. Anyway, the family is great. The boys were alittle sick yesterday, but they are a-ok now. We have an all day bbq tomorrow. That may be okay minus the all day quad riding the boys will be doing. It's just scary, but the track is way kid friendly. So, I don't feel as bad. I will have to post pics. It was so freaking hot today. Shhhhh......don't tell my dh that I said that. I try my hardest not to complain about the heat because he works in the heat. So when I complain in front of him I feel really bad. Hey, I know I didn't chose his career, he did, but then who would buy my scrap crap?

So, my daughter, Deegan, just walked in and asked if I wanted a pickle, you want a drink, a hot dog? Before bed, we usually give her a snack because she doesn't always eat her dinner. She'll be 3 in November. I swear she pronounces her words so clearly. It is a big difference from Dylan(5yo) with a speech impledment to her with a big vocab. She has the cutest little pixie voice to go with her pixie face.

BTW, these are my 3 kids, Gabe, Dylan, and Deegan. This picture was taken April 2, 2007. We went to the Memorial Service for the Death of Jesus Christ. It was a nice service. We go every year.

Our LA/Disneyland Trip!!!!

I know I haven't blogged in awhile. I have been pretty busy lately with the new Creative Team I'm on. It's been alot of fun!! These are pictures of our LA/Disneyland. That is my oldest son fighting Darth Maul. It's a show Disneyland does in TomorrowLand. He thought he was sooo cool! That is also him in front of the castle. That's all of us in front of the "A" at Disney Calfornia.

This is my dh with our three kids and our brother in law, Jeff, and our nephew, Jayden, from Colorado. That's all three boys, Gabe, Dylan, and Jayden with Minnie Mouse. The kids had a great time. We got to see family we hadn't seen in awhile. It was alot fo fun. We got to go to IKEA. That is was the best part. We ate dinner and spent way too much $$$. All in all, it was a great 3 day vacation, but we won't be going back to Disneyland for awhile.

I had posted about a drawing before I left. And the winner is......AMYZ!! Congrats Amy. I have box of scrap stuff that I have collected for you and you disney prize. I will send that out to you ASAP.

SF pictures and a quick story!!

I would go into more detail about SF, but I shouldn't because I will never go back. It's a beautiful city and everyone was nice especially the guy I almost ran over in the cross walk down by Pier 39. Still I will never go back. It's crowded and uncomfortable. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from our trip. I will blog more. I have a drawing to do and update with Disneyhell pictures. So I am sitting here...

with all of you, my friends. It feels so good to be able to say that(or should I say "type that"). I totally shouldn't be here. I should be packing for Disneyland. I don't want to go. I just hope it's not so busy. Otherwise, I may have a tantum right there and then. Think good thoughts for me all day tomorrow(sunday) because I have to go see my SIL's. YIKES!! When I go around them I feel like I am going into the lion's den. But I am trying to be really positive about the whole trip. All I really care about is going to IKEA. Yes, I know I am very selfish, but my alpha foam stamps need some type of organization otherwise I will have to sell them or give them away. I don't want to do that just yet. I will post pictures after I am done altering the wooden drawers. I have one already that I bought at the IKEA in SF, that one is already primered and ready for some paint, but I am still not sure what colors I want to paint yet. I may just go with my pink, brown, & lime green colors. Any ideas? Plus I was waiting for the 2nd set to do it all at the same time. I am going to take pictures in stages so I can post it over at Sherri's forum. She has a lot happening in the April. Lots of prizes to be given away. Make sure you head over there and sign up for her newsletter. It will have every challenge or contest she will be offering. Anyway, I should head out and go pack. So, this also means I wouldn't be able to post while I am gone. I will miss all of you dearly!! I want to leave you alittle something first. Whoever leaves a comment, I will have a drawing with everyone's name, and send them a little something from Disneyland! Who wants to play!!

SHE let it out of the bag....

So, now I can tell you......I will be designing for Sherri's Scrapbook Supplies. You all know her. She's sdouglas from SD or SL. She had that thread a while back about a job opening and will I applied for it, but I didn't get that one because that included web design. Geez, I am way too dumb for that. I can barely figure the whole blog thing out. She decided to go ahead and add a Creative Team and I am on it. I already got my first assignment. You should see me. My stomach is turning just thinking about it. Or maybe cause I am hungry. I will be okay. I think. Let's see how it goes, right? If I suck at it, then will I suck at it. :) No biggie, really. Thanks everyone for rooting for me.

Dorky ramblings..............Sorry!

First of all, I still can't tell you what website I will be working on. SHE is still working out all the kinks. Just letting you all know SHE's added a forum and a message board to go along with her Creative Team and Store. SHE picked out some talented women that know what they are doing when it comes to scrapbooking. You all know her. But still I can not tell you. So sorry!!!! ;) I just hope I can actually contribute something to this. Sometimes I can be a real dork. Let me tell you why.......First of all, I don't have a lot of female friends that I chit chat in real life with besides women I have met online. So, it's hard for me to open up to people since some stuff happened awhile back with a certain person. So, it's hard to trust people that you don't "really" know. I can already hear, my friend, Tigger, saying you have put yourself out there. Give them some more details about your life. So, what do you all want to know?

So, I have a little announcement..

to make. I recently applied for position as a "Creative Team Member". And I GOT IT!! I totally couldn't believe it. I have had people(Okay, one person, Thanks Tracy!)tell me I should submit for design teams and publishing, but I didn't think I had that "quality". I guess I was dumb for thinking that, right? Well, now, I know if I just put myself out there and stalk my email that I would all work out. YAY! for me. So PLEASE do a happy dance for me. I can't announce for what website yet because She said she plans to send a newletter announcing the CT. I am just soooooooo excited!!

So I thought...

I would jump on the band wagon and get a blog, too. Let's just see how long it takes before I forget all about it along with everything else I usually forget.

So, anyhow, I guess I am suppose to write about my daily happennings....So, let's see...We were all exposed to the mumps just recently. YAY!! Yeah right....Dylan has to stay out of school until March 26th. That also means we will not be going to Disneyland to meet the family there. I am feeling pretty bummed only because I will miss the IKEA trip. The kids are fine so far. We just have to wait and see if they start to show any symptoms. Well, Dylan is needing me to go make a race track of some sort...This kid is demanding!!
